What is the marking speed of laser engravers?
The maximum marking speed of Cloudray galvanometer system is 15,000 mm/s.
Cloudray recommends a common marking speed range of 2,000 to 5,000 mm/s, which enables high-quality marking for 1mm characters.
Typically, the maximum marking speed can reach the highest positioning speed of the galvanometer, depending on the engraver's specifications.

What is the maximum engraving depth of this engraver?
Engraving depth mainly depends on material type, laser power, focal distance, and processing parameters.
For example, on brass, the maximum achievable depth is approximately 5 mm.

What is Auto-Focus and how does it work?
Auto-focus uses sensors to measure the material surface height in real time and automatically adjusts the Z-axis position.
This ensures the laser is always at the optimal focal distance, improving processing consistency and reducing the need for manual adjustments.

What are the main differences between 60W and 100W?
The main differences are processing efficiency, deep engraving capability, and cutting ability.
Compared to a 60W laser, a 100W laser provides higher energy output, allowing faster processing, deeper engraving, and the ability to cut thicker materials.

What should I do if the autofocus position is inaccurate?
If the autofocus position is inaccurate, you can manually recalibrate and save a new autofocus position:
1. Manually adjust the laser head to the correct focal position.
2. Immediately press and hold AF + DOWN together for about 2 seconds.
3. Release the buttons when you hear a beep. The current position is now saved as the new autofocus position.
4. Press Auto Focus again to verify the recalibrated position.
Note: The autofocus position for the standard F-theta lens is preset before shipment. Recalibration may be required if the autofocus position shifts or after replacing the F-theta lens.
